Information Text and Explicit Consent Regarding the Processing of Personal Data within the Scope of Law No. 6698

A. Purpose of the Personal Data Protection Policy

According to Law No. 6698, the primary aim in processing personal data is to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, including the right to privacy, and to act in accordance with the procedures and principles to be followed. The processing of personal data is subject to procedure and law, and the general principles of the law are taken as the basis. In accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698, personal data is processed in accordance with the principle of confidentiality, within the framework of the importance given to the right to privacy and fundamental rights and freedoms.

B. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

In accordance with Law No. 6698 and within the framework of informed consent, your personal data is collected and processed by KOCAK PETROL URUNLERI SAN. VE TIC. LTD. STI. within the scope of its petroleum product manufacturing activities, as required by the regulations of our company and relevant public institutions, and by contracts concluded with them; through visual, verbal, written or electronic means.

Given the risky and demanding nature of the work, data may also be collected for occupational health and safety purposes. Personal data will be used for service delivery, quality improvement, information dissemination, advertising, marketing, data storage, reporting, and company presentations.

Data may be collected automatically or non-automatically through various channels such as offices, branches, dealerships, call centers, websites, social media, and mobile applications. It may be processed as long as the services are used.

Your consent is obtained in accordance with Articles 4, 5, and 6 of Law No. 6698. Information will not be shared with third parties other than official institutions upon request.

Transfers abroad will only be carried out in accordance with the terms of Article 9, with the necessary security measures in place and with proper notification. With your explicit consent, data may be shared with affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures, public institutions, business partners, and suppliers.

By accepting this text, you explicitly and freely consent to the collection, recording, storage, preservation, modification, reorganization, disclosure, transfer, acquisition, classification, or prevention of the use of your personal data.

The obligation to inform has been fulfilled, and you have given your explicit written or verbal consent for the transfer, recording, processing, and storage of your data.
