Speedgear GL-1 is a mineral based automotive gear oil developed to be used in manuel gearboxes worked at low and medium load conditions.
Usage
It is used in manual transmissions, axles and final drives of vehicles requiring performance at API GL-1 level. It can also be used in industrial gear units that do not operate with heavy load.
Properties
- Superior Film Layer: It protects metal against rust and corrosion by forming film on metal.
- Foam Stability: Protects the lubricating film at operating temperatures and prevents corrosion.
- Film Layer Activity: It prevents corrosion by forming a film on the metal surface with the corrosion additive contained in it.
- Resistance to Rust and Corrosion: It provides superior protection at high temperatures and prevents wear and corrosion.
- Flow Characteristic at Low Temperature: It facilitates rudder movements because flow is good even at low temperatures.
